Michael is the most skilled end-to-end application designer/developer that I have worked with in my career. He is extremely detail-oriented and delivers an insane level of quality. I have worked with him locally and remotely, on numerous projects here at EA, he has been consistently exceptional; Michael is a true professional.

Mike is simply one of the best (if not the best) User Interface Developers I have ever worked with in the many years I've been in the website development world. He always keeps up with the latest frameworks and quickly becomes an expert at just about everything (AngularJS, Bootstrap, etc). His code is extremely organized. He also pays very close attention to requirements and he understands the business context. He gives recommendations to make the end result better.

I worked with Michael on two different [engagements] — Electronic Arts and Barnes and Noble. While at Electronic Arts, we brought him into the organization as a consultant to manage a pretty complex front-end infrastructure. Over two years ago, he was pushing the envelope of HTML5 and CSS3 capabilities while understanding the business need. At Barnes and Noble, he had a similar role but was in charge of our reading functionality online. In both occasions, he not only met but exceeded my expectations and pushed the envelope of what modern browsers can handle. I would absolutely recommend Michael and his firm for any extremely difficult web projects in the future.

I have worked with Michael on several projects. He is extremely talented and consistently pushes the envelope with front end technologies. Michael writes code with the highest level of integrity and from an architectural viewpoint so that it can be built upon and extended by others. I would highly recommend him especially when you need something built on a solid foundation or when the projects are cutting edge.

Mike is easily the best manager and technologist I've had the great fortune to work with. He not only gets the technology, but he also gets people, and this combination allows him to figure out how to approach a problem, set realistic goals, and actually meet them. All while keeping both the clients and the developers happy. When all is said and done, even the most complex and difficult problems can feel, in some sense, "easy".

I worked with Michael on a project that was critical to release and on a short deadline. With his help we were able to meet our release goals on time. He then assisted with the maintenance and performance updates going forward. He is incredibly professional and raised our engineering standards to a new high. Easy to work with. Any team would be lucky to have him.

Michael is the kind of technologist that adds a great blending of skill, personality and creativity to any development team. He has excellent analytic skills, extensive software development experience, including both back-end and front-end systems, web services, complex UI work and traditional web interfaces.
