Jacoby & Meyers — Enterprise White-Label CRM

Jacoby & Meyers — one of the largest plaintiff law firms in the United States — engaged INNOV8 for a three-year engagement to architect and build a custom enterprise white-label CRM frontend application, used internally by the firm’s intake and case management teams.
The application
The CRM was a large-scale enterprise SPA built on TypeScript + Angular (spanning versions 13 through 16 across the lifecycle), with RxJS driving the reactive data layer and NgRx managing the application state across the complex multi-view CRM surface. The codebase was structured as an Nx MonoRepo — a toolchain that organized the multiple Angular applications, shared libraries, and internal packages under a single repository with consistent build, lint, and test tooling. Azure DevOps handled CI/CD, code review workflows, and release management.
Custom Material implementation — the Angular Material component library was extended and adapted to Jacoby & Meyers’ design language and UX requirements, moving beyond the default Material aesthetic into a branded enterprise UI system purpose-built for legal intake and case management workflows.
Custom DataGrid implementation — the most technically demanding surface in the CRM was a high-density data grid capable of rendering and managing thousands of case records with inline editing, column sorting and filtering, bulk actions, and real-time updates. No off-the-shelf grid library met the performance and customization requirements for the firm’s case volume; the grid was built from scratch against the application’s data layer.
Team building and mentorship
The engagement’s scope extended well beyond the codebase. INNOV8 hired, onboarded, trained, and mentored three developers and two designers over the course of the three-year relationship — building the product team that maintained and extended the CRM through the engagement’s lifecycle.
The hiring process included defining the role requirements, conducting technical interviews, and establishing the onboarding curriculum that brought each new team member up to the codebase’s quality bar. The designers were integrated into a UX process that connected their work directly to the Angular component system, reducing the handoff gap between design and implementation.
Three years, one enterprise product, a full team built from scratch. The Jacoby & Meyers CRM is the kind of long-arc direct-client engagement that defines a consulting practice: trusted with the firm’s core operational tooling for nearly the entirety of its clients’ case management workflow.
