Halston Website — Web hero shot

Halston called on INNOV8 to architect and develop their first website CMS — the iconic American fashion brand’s inaugural managed web presence, built to carry both the heritage of the label and the current season’s collections.

The engagement’s technical centerpiece was the product integration: Halston’s catalog was managed through StyleBoost, a fashion e-commerce and product database platform. INNOV8 built the CMS architecture around StyleBoost’s web services layer, so Halston’s team could publish new collections and product pages through a single editorial workflow without touching code. The result was a content-managed marketing surface that pulled live product data and imagery from StyleBoost into a custom editorial design — the fashion brand’s visual direction expressed in a maintainable CMS architecture rather than a hand-coded one-off.

The eight-month engagement (July 2012 through March 2013) delivered Halston’s first fully owned and managed digital flagship.
