Level Ex Website
Unfold Agency commissioned INNOV8 to rebuild the Level Ex website — the public-facing property for a Chicago-based company building medical training games used by doctors and medical students worldwide.
Level Ex’s audience is almost entirely professional: surgeons, residents, and medical educators who arrive with high expectations for content quality and zero tolerance for slow load times or broken mobile layouts. The rebuild demanded a Contentful CMS architecture that allowed Level Ex’s content team to publish medical game releases, research partnerships, and conference appearances without engineering involvement, while keeping the frontend lean enough to perform on the hospital Wi-Fi conditions the audience often works under.
INNOV8 built the frontend on Node.js / Express with Bootstrap and SCSS Modules, using Webpack for the build pipeline and Sentry for error monitoring. SendGrid handled contact and partnership inquiry email routing. The engagement ran August through December 2019 via the INNOV8–Unfold vendor relationship.
